Sydney Trains

Sydney’s Central Station is the largest train station in Australia and services almost all the lines for Sydney's suburban and interstate train services. Catch a train from Central Station to explore Sydney's greater suburbs. Catch the train to explore the pristine Blue Mountains in Sydney's west, surf the waves in Newcastle north of Sydney, or visit the wonderous blowhole in Kiama south of Sydney.

Central Railway Hotel & Apartments is only a 10 minute walk from Central Station, making train travel in Sydney a breeze.

 

Sydney Buses

Sydney Buses have routes across Sydney's CBD, Eastern Suburbs and the Inner West. Buses operate from Central Station at Eddy Avenue, Elizabeth Street and from Railway Square. Take the bus to Bondi and Coogee and surf, shop and eat in iconic Sydney beach surroundings. Or take the bus to Newtown, Sydney's alternative centre for great affordable food and culture.

Sydney Monorail

Sydney’s Monorail will take you through Sydney's Chinatown, Spanish Quarter, CBD and Darling Harbour. The monorail is a fun way to travel in Sydney and provides a unique bird's eye view of Sydney's streets. The monorail runs every day until 10 pm except Christmas Day.

 

Sydney Light Rail

The Sydney Light Rail is a network of convenient trams that links Central Station to Sydney’s Chinatown, Pyrmont, Glebe and Rozelle. Catch the tram to get delicious yum cha in Chinatown and visit Pyrmont to place a bet at The Star or enjoy fresh seafood at Sydney's iconic Fish Markets.

Sydney Ferries

Sydney Ferries are a wonderful way to travel around Sydney, especially on a sunny day. Head down to Circular Quay and catch a ferry to Sydney's Taronga Park Zoo, Manly Beach or enjoy a barbecue on the unique Cockatoo Island.
