Shopping in Chinatown

There are many shops in Chinatown bringing you the latest in Chinese fashions and entertainment as well as those selling traditional Chinese souvenirs and herbal remedies.

The heart of Chinatown shopping is on Dixon Street Mall. This pedestrian mall is filled with Chinese stores with kawaii fashion, make up, toys, music and DVDs. Visit here on Friday nights and you'll see the street transformed into the Chinatown Night Markets where stalls sell delicious Asian street food much like the street markets of Asia.

Paddy's Markets Haymarket

Paddy's Markets Haymarket is ust too much fun to miss! Dive into an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, bargains from retailers selling discounted fashions and one-off creations from individual artists. Paddy’s Markets is Sydney’s biggest city market conveniently located right in the heart of Sydney's Chinatown and a 10 minute walk from Central Station.
